Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative
Not all disabilities are visible. Many people live with hidden conditions—such as autism, dementia, mental health challenges, or sensory impairments—that can make everyday activities more difficult.
Bold Park Aquatic is proud to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative, which allows individuals to wear a sunflower symbol to discreetly indicate that they have a hidden disability and may need extra support, understanding, or patience.
Staff have completed awareness training and are equipped to recognise the symbol and respond with assistance if required.
Free sunflower lanyards (limit one per person) are available at Bold Park Aquatic for individuals with a hidden disability.
